How do your Venues work?

We get this question a lot! Essentially, our spaces are beautifully decorated and furnished with tables, chairs, etc. so you'll have a ready-to-go, beautiful setting for your event; simply bring food, drink and guests! We offer add-ons such as Tabletop Decor & Dishware (our "Signature Package"), Staff (Event Helpers & Bartenders), Custom Signs & Balloons! Request Info for more.

What is your max capacity?

Violet Cactus Petite Venue can host a maximum of 26 Guests and Violet Cactus Studio Venue can host a maximum of 50 Guests! The Venues are totally separate and cannot be combined.

Do you offer in-house catering?

Nope! We do not offer in house catering. Guests may bring catering of their choice! (Drop off catering preferable as we do not have a full kitchen).

Do you do Balloons?

We sure do! We have an awesome team of in-house balloon stylists to make your balloon visions come true! Request info and we'll send you our Pricing Sheet which includes our Balloon Rates. 

May we have a DJ?

Yes, upon request we do allow DJs/dancing inside our Studio Venue (the Petite Venue is not conducive to having a DJ/Dancing). We like to go over the rules of the space with vendors ahead of time, so please intro us to your DJ prior to the event.

Where are you located?

We currently have two venues, both are located in the Burbank Media District in Los Angeles, CA! Our Petite Venue is located at 1813 W. Verdugo Ave and our Studio Venue is located two doors down at 1817 W. Verdugo Ave. (Right Near Burroughs High School, across from the CVS between Parish Pl & Orchard Dr). 

 

What are the rental fees?

Our rental fees vary depending on the day of week, time of event and event type, size and scope. We rent the space in a 5-hour block of time, on Saturdays & Sundays we do two events per day, Request Info and we'll email you our current pricing!

 

Do you have parking?

For guests we have easy open (free!) street parking on Verdugo Ave., Parish Pl & Orchard Dr. Guests will enter and exit the Venue from Verdugo Ave. via the Front Door. For our Hosts we have a few reserved spaces in our small back parking lot (used for loading/unloading, catering, etc.)

 

What's included in my rental?

  • High Speed Wifi

  • HD Projector w/ Screen (must bring laptop that can connect to HDMI)

  • Surround Sound System (iPhone/iPad compatible)

  • Dining Tables & Chairs

  • Additional side tables for gifts, catering, etc.

  • Dessert Bar Area & Bubbly Bar Area (varies by venue)

What dates are available?

Let us know your preferred date(s) when you request info and we will share our availability! We tend to have more availability than most traditional venues as we typically do 2 events per day!

May we tour the space?

Yes! We offer 15 min tours on Weekdays! To arrange a tour,

text your name, venue of interest (or both) & preferred weekday tour time (8a-7p) to 818-403-5501. We'll text back to confirm!
